Meet Jesus

Created For Relationship

Have you ever felt like you have everything and yet are still missing something? Have you ever wondered why you were created? According to the Bible, you were created with one purpose in mind.

All things were created by Him (Jesus Christ) and for Him.

Colossians 1:16

The Bible says that God created you specifically for Himself. He created you to have a personal relationship with Him. You won't be complete inside until you belong to Jesus Christ.

Sin Breaks Relationship

Sin is living for ourselves instead of for God. The Bible says that we have all sinned. Each one of us have done things that displease God and turned our backs on him.

We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way...

Isaiah 53:6

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

Sin breaks the relationship between you and God. In fact, according to the Bible, the penalty for sin is eternal death and the only payment that can bring about the forgiveness of sins is blood.

For the wages of sin is death...

Romans 6:23

...Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Hebrews 9:22

None of us deserve the relationship that God wants with each one of us. Because God is 100% sinless and we are 100% sinful, we can't have a relationship with Him until our sin gets removed. We are helpless without God's intervention.

Jesus Restores Relationship

God recognized the price for sin and knew that it was a price that we could never pay. God desired relationship with each of us so much that before any of us ever thought about Him, He was making a way for our relationship with Him to be restored.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

Instead of condemning us for our sin, God choose His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us instead. By shedding His own blood, Jesus paid the penalty for our sin. According to the Bible, Jesus showed us the greatest kind of love by dying in our place.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

John 3:16-17

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

John 15:13

The Choice Is Yours

God did his part to bring us back into right relationship with Himself. Now the choice is up to you. Jesus made the way but it is up to you to accept or reject what He has done. Jesus never enters where He is not invited but He promises to live inside all who ask him to.

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

Revelation 3:20

What do you have to do? It's simple. The Bible says that all you have to do is accept what Jesus has done. You have to do is recognize and agree with Jesus that you are a sinner and need his help. He promises that if you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that Jesus died for you, you will be saved.

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Romans 10:9-10
